Hello OLGA, tell me about your art practice and your residency experience. Do you think it is important for an artist to visit art residence?
My work explores the relationship between self identification, and an emotional memories. Becomes manipulated into a dialectic of reflection leaving only a sense of feeling the prospect of a new reality. As intermittent derivatives become reconfigured through diligent diverse practice, is left with a variations to the of our future, and possibility of a new synthesis.
As temporal replicas become multiply through boundaries and diverse experimental practices, its only left with a present moment to use the possibilities of our existence.
It is definitely very important for an artist to go to an Art residence. This is an opportunity to concentrate on my work without being distracted by anything.
There is also an opportunity for communication with other residents to exchange our knowledge and experience.
The Residence gave me the opportunity to continue my current project, as well as experiment with new techniques.
There was some kind of desire for security and stability. Residency work is good for exploring new forms of interaction in a new supportive environment.
.As a result, it turned out to continue a series of works on a dark canvas and start a mix-media work on fabric. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to work on large formats.
